OBEY PARIS STORE OPENING

This season we worked with Gem Hale for the OBEY Artist Series. Gem is a photographer and director based in the Americas, with roots in Texas. A graduate of the BFA Photography program at SAIC, his work has been showcased in local print, online and physical exhibitions from an early age. Gem also produces limited edition books and zines documenting his personal projects and travels.The OBEY Artist Series collection featuring Gem Hale releases this Friday, August 14th at obeyclothing.com. Each purchase includes a zine, "Texas 4ever," featuring photographs by Gem.

What began as an experiment in subversion has since evolved into an expansive street art campaign and a widely exhibited body of fine art. OBEY TATTOOS – EPISODE 6 featuring @cap_fiendFor more than 20 years, Omar Heras has been a supporter of OBEY and the ideas behind Shepard Fairey's work. From street art to human rights, the message has always resonated. Inspired by the artwork, message and community surrounding OBEY, he's built a collection spanning apparel, memorabilia and tattoos.

“BOOK” AMSTERDAM “BOOK” is an ephemeral bookshop imagined by publisher Kermesse, with a wide selection of new and old books curated by artist Victor Unwin.Art books, design books, fashion books, literature books, conceptual books, books on books…After Paris and Berlin, “BOOK” AMSTERDAM was a new occasion to reflect on the communities and ecosystems generated by even the simplest printed matter.
